Back in the early 1900’s, a gentleman by the name of Francis Thibault saw his dream of owning a business that specialized in selling specialty construction products come to reality. Never in his wildest dreams did he think that, four generations later, his name would still be associated with such companies.

His descendants played a great role in building the company up to where it is today. Following Francis’ leadership was Charles, then Réal and today the company is owned by his great grandchildren, Mario & Benoît, the Thibault brothers.

In addition to perpetuating the success of Thibault & Frères, many other companies were founded that now operate across Quebec. One such company is Agrémat which is located in St-Jerome. In order to continually thrive and properly service the market, in 2004, two new companies were founded, Ottawa Brick & Stone Distribution Ltd and Agrémat –Division Sherbrooke. These newcomers also specialize in selling specialty construction products.

Sister companies also include three concrete block and landscaping product manufacturers. They produce a complete line of concrete blocks as well as architectural blocks that are available in different colors.

Ottawa Brick & Stone was built from a legacy of one man’s dream and we strive to continue to serve the community with that same vision in mind.
